Meet Sara Kathryne

Sara Kathryne Isbell is a contemporary artist from Marietta, Georgia, known for blending traditional elegance with modern edge. Inspired by her love for transitional design—a style that celebrates the harmony of old and new—her mixed-media paintings reflect a blend of styles that feel both innovative and elevated. Since becoming a full-time artist in 2024, SK’s work has been collected by acclaimed interior designers, featured in homes recognized by leading publications, and selected for several juried art shows—each milestone further establishing her presence in the art world. Her years as a Registered Nurse in the Neonatal ICU deeply shaped the heartbeat of her artistry, as she strives to create work that brings warmth, life, and meaning to every space.

A Note from the Artist

Creativity has always been my way of processing life — through writing, through music, through art. During my time as a Registered Nurse in the Neonatal ICU, I was able to use my creative ability to bring joy to families in their most vulnerable moments. When I realized my art could serve the same purpose outside of the hospital, I knew I had found my true calling. I once heard it said, “There is healing of the body, and there is healing of the soul,” and I consider it an honor to have played a role in both. Since starting my business, I’ve completed hundreds of commissions, collaborated with interior designers I’ve long admired, and recently sold to my first celebrity collector. This season has been full of unexpected blessings, and I’m so grateful I followed God’s call to take this path. My hope is that my art sparks conversation as it celebrates the harmony of modern and traditional, softness and structure, paint and purpose.
